Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts- Southwest Mississippi AHEC

The Alcorn State University’s School of Nursing efforts affect the Southwest Mississippi AHEC (SMAHEC); providing care for the evacuees of Hurricane Katrina. The ASU School of Nursing and SMAHEC's efforts were facilitated through the Mobile Clinic/Health Unit. School of Nursing played an intricate role in assisting persons displaced and in need of medical support as a result of Hurricane Katrina.
